"Harvey"
(Hartmut Herr v. Lindenhof)
An "H" litter puppy at 5 weeks
Hart at 9 weeks of age
At 12 weeks and 32 pounds
At 15 weeks and growing like a weed

Thank you to Steve and Barbara Yoder of Von Lindenhof BMD for allowing this beautiful male from their "H" litter to come live with us.  The Yoders have been breeding BMD since 1989.  They have offered their time and experience to mentor us in the ways of BMD ownership.  It's really much different than living with IGs.

Hart is brilliant with that working dog mentality and an urge to please.  He learns so quickly that we are constantly amazed.    He has earned the nick-name "Harvard Law School."  So mostly he is known as "Harvey."  We are hoping to venture into quite a few events with Hart once he matures.  Conformation, obedience, rally-o, drafting, tracking and herding all seem possible with this agile, intelligent, willing boy.

We discovered that Harvey hates water but likes carting.  We will need to learn lots more in order to do this sport.  Harvey seems to know it already and only needed a little instruction from his close friend Bear.  Thanks to Kathy, Bear's owner, who made this cart from scratch!

NEWS:  Harvey's father has now been awarded the title of "Versatility" by earning an AKC conformation CH. a CD obedience title and a drafting title.

Harvey's Mom has won her CD in addition to her CH.

Congratulations to the Yoders for breeding, handling and working with such great dogs.

Harvey won't get his feet wet but enjoys watching his little friend Willy wade in the cool water
Harvey's friend Bear teaches Havey how to pull a cart.  This is Harvey's first time ever in harness.  Bear's owner built it from scratch using plans she found on the internet and parts she found on the side of the road.  Way to go Kathy.
