Carlo was a rare treasure, being an "Andante" kid. He was elegant and sound and a happy IG who has never met a stranger. He loved other dogs as much as people and would search out some of his favorite doggie friends at shows. He aged elegantly and still showed classic lines and a great temperament his entire life. Carlo was entirely owner-handled throughout his show career.

At age 7, Carlo learned a new skill: Rally-O. After a successful show career, Carlo is taking lessons in obedience with a twist. Rally is where, as a team, the dog and handler negotiate instructions posted on signs throughout a pre-determined course. It's a hoot because for years I was telling Carlo to stand and now I am asking for sits and downs!
2010 Carlo decided that he preferred the sofa. in 2011, at age 13 he remained dignified and crossed the bridge like a gentleman. He is greatly missed.
